How does it feel? How does it feel? To be without a home

Like a complete unknown? Like a rolling stone?” © Bob Dylan 1965

For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations." (Numbers 23:9, KJV)

“And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”  (Zechariah 12:3 KJV)

“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.  For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.”  (Matthew 10:34-36 KJV)

Did you know that the prophet Balaam mentioned in the Book of Numbers really existed? He was hired by Balak the king of Moab to curse Israel just after entering the promised land and destroying the Amorites. You can read the story in Numbers chapters 22 to 24. In 1967 in a town in Jordan called Deir Alla, excavations of an ancient collapsed wall revealed a message, an advertisement painted on plaster. You can see it to the left. For the website click here: https://www.bible.ca/archeology/bible-archeology-balaam-son-of-beor-inscription-tell-deir-alla-succoth-1400-750bc.htm You need to know that the events recorded in the Bible really happened. The Bible, unlike many other ancient texts, is not a collection of myth or legend. The Book of Daniel tells us that in the “last days knowledge shall be increased” (Daniel 12:4), and with the flood of new discoveries flowing in from the fields of Biology, Cosmology and Archaeology, Bible-doubters have fallen on hard times. Every new scientific discovery seems to confirm the Jewish scriptures, but you’ll never hear this from the History or Discovery channels.

I'd like to weigh in on the growing global argument over Israel’s current action in Gaza.

We’ve watched in the last month or so as some of the most high profile voices in American culture which traditionally supported the State of Israel have mysteriously backed off or even turned hostile. Since the assassination of Charlie Kirk we’ve watched Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Megyn Kelly and others who have been previously supportive of Israel change their tone. We’ve watched vice president JD Vance call Israel’s Knesset intention to reclaim Judea and Samaria (the “West Bank”) “stupid”, hopefully a unthinking gaffe.

The U.S. has been the greatest friend and protector of Israel since its rebirth in 1948, thanks to the influence of the scriptures and those who believe them, Christians. How is it that a nation smaller than the State of New Jersey has the entire world up in arms or at each others throats? Its relevance far exceeds it size, for Israel represents eternity. We expect Islam (whose purpose is the destruction of Jews and Christians), Atheists, Socialists and the Left in general to oppose the Biblical version of God. But now, for the first time in U.S. history we are watching cracks appear in the monolithic wall of Conservative American support. Will this protective dam break?

In a video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LVa49QsUhM the author comments :

I mean if you believe that God has a future with his people Israel and his promise to give the land of Israel to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is everlasting, and that you should bless the Jewish people instead of cursing them, you're hated more than any other people on the planet. What is going on? This (Buckley Carlson) is by one of the most popular media personalities in America. And so friends, we are in the midst of a spiritual war and in this war Israel is destined to stand alone. That's Israel's (Jew and Gentile) destiny and if you thought Israel would be able to hide in the conservative movement or the republican party you'll see that both from the soon-to-be mayor of New York Mamdani and the woke left with him and now the new woke right in the republican party the Jewish people will be singled out and Israel will be left alone just like Abraham.”

His statement "Israel is destined to stand alone" is Biblical. Remember how we started this conversation?

lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.(Numbers 23:9)

Whoever thought that Jewish hatred could come to this in a country to heavily steeped in religion and Bible teaching?? It is difficult to condense such a history-encompassing subject, but remember that Christians, according to the scriptures committed to the Jews (Jews wrote the New Testament too) are to be included in “Israel” ..

“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”  (Galatians 3:26-29 KJV)

By far the most powerful ruling religious denomination (Orthodox Rabbinical Judaism) in Israel does not accept this, though it was written by one of their own Rabbis, the Apostle Paul, and predicted by their own prophets. And it is surreal watching the dispersed Jews return to the land given to their fathers and take up exactly where they left off, acting like the last 2000 years never happened and planning for a rebuilt Jewish temple. The guy in the video said “Israel is destined to stand alone.” , and he's right. But remember that Christians are included here. If we continue to trust God's word concerning Israel's future shall we not be rejected by our own countrymen along with the the Jews? And if we cave on this, where will it stop?

There is “neither Jew nor Greek” as Rabbi Paul said above. for ye are all one in Christ Jesus”. Even though there is neither “male nor female” spiritually, the physical distinctions remain, just as they do between Jew and Gentile. God instituted a "new covenant" (Jeremiah 31:31) not according to the covenant make at Sinai, and removed the “middle wall of partition” (the Law of commandments condemning us all) making of both Jew and Gentile one new man” (Ephesians 2:15). Israel consists in God's plan as ONE entity including Jews and Gentile believers upon the mountains of Israel. Though the majority of Jews do not accept this, they ultimately will. Zechariah chapters 12 through 14 give a bird’s eye view of what Christ’s return will look like from Jerusalem.

Suffice it to say that persecution is coming to Israel, both Jew and Gentile. Yes, “all who live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persection” (2 Timothy 3:12). Safety in the United States of America has been the exception and not the rule. And since in the last days evil will increase and perilous times will come, why should we be surprised? We are “not of this world” (John 17:16) but seek a “city that has foundations” (Hebrews 11:10). Everything is just as it should be if the Bible is true. With every passing day it seems a new proof of the Bible’s truth is revealed. And because it's true we cannot hate unbelievers, especially Jews.

We should support Israel along with its population of Jesus haters, not because they're good or deserving, but because we are to do good to all. Remember, though thankfully millions of Jews are converting to Christ, the bulk of Israel is destined to be converted on the last day (Zechariah 12:10). Let’s not “boast against the branches” (Romans 11:18) but honor those who bore the heat of the day in their wrestling with God.

The WORLD will leave before Israel does..
